Life's journey can be so exhausting. We are oftentimes switching lanes in a desperate race get to the head of the pack. For some, each day progresses as ongoing challenges to succeed and outwit those around you. For others, all their energy is spent on just keeping afloat, always working 110% but never getting anywhere. If you're a Christian who values their relationship with God, these pressures can affect your walk and may cause you from being on-fire for God to lukewarm, eventually to be speeding away from Him. So what are the signs you have become lukewarm?
It's easy to be afraid that you won't find that special someone. The search for your soulmate may feel as hard as finding a needle in a haystack. I'm a romantic however and I do believe there is a perfect match for everyone. Generally we find that match when we are not looking. Love has a tendency to catch us when our guard is down and we aren't trying to control it. So how are you going to find your needle in the haystack?
Had a great talk with some of the younger generation of our church who are getting married this year. How exciting to be at the start of a new journey like marriage! BUT IT'S DECISION TIME....The decisions they are making before the big day are going to play a pivotal role in the level of financial stress their marriage will be founded on. Will they choose a life of riches accompanied by work stress to maintain those material items. Will it be plagued with financial stress due to bad money choices? Or will they opt for a more simple life allowing for financial freedom? If finances are the number one reason for divorce, how critical is it to understand the financial direction of your marriage then before you even get started!
